The Taint of Evil Part 1: The Blood in the Ground Cries Out

The LORD said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground.                  Genesis 4:10

Just one the hundreds of Bible verses read everyday without a second thought, but today let’s delve into the weird and unexplained. This is where God confronts Cain over the murder of his brother Able. Rather than just saying he knew God told Cain how he knew he’d murdered his brother, and that now raises many questions. Not to mention more than one blood curdling implication.

A common theme in ghost stories, demonic activity, and Satanic or Lusiferian hub hubs in the wilder world of chaos is land where despicable deeds, especially murder and such, have taken place. Hauntings such as the Bobby Mackey's Music World haunting case where good documentation shows alleged spirits of both the murders, and the victims on the premises. How many times have you heard that old trope about Native American burial grounds in a movie? They get that from real life too.

There is a twist in many cases. For instance when Mitchell Clay brought his family to his acquired farm after serving in the French and Indian War they would be attacked by savages. Shawnee came, and shot one of his sons then cut his daughter to pieces for attempting to stop them from scalping the teen’s body. Lastly they kidnapped Clay's sixteen year old son where they then tortured him before burning him at the stake. On a side note have I told you why I don’t care about the amount of treaties the U.S. government broke with these people? Incidents like this might be why subsequent generations didn’t care too much for the savages’ plight.

Anyway, after the townspeople rallied and did a punic mission killing Shawnee in revenge for the raid, this was called an Indian Massacre funny how it's only a massacre when the white man did the killing, the Clay family moved on. The property however was not done.

Eventually it would be turned into a haunted theme park, and an archeologist would discover an Indian burial ground that existed before the white man settled the area with at least 3000 bodies contained within ranging from children of all ages, to men and women too. Something about land tainted by the blood of murder, torture, and dark sacrifice seems to be writhe with ghost stories of every flavor. Whether dealing with the soul of the murderer or the victim or even bystanders who happen to die near the property, or sometimes something darker masquerading as one of the above tainted land always wants to play host to one haunting or another.

“Your Brother’s blood cries out…” Makes one wonder what God was telling us so many thousand years ago. In fact we’ll explore just what God, the Bible, and tradition tells the astute reader about tainted land in the next two parts of these blog posts. For now, suffice it to say that whether dealing with savages or unruly men their sins can mar land, and even curse it just like when Joshua cursed Jericho.

At that time Joshua pronounced this solemn oath: “Cursed before the LORD is the one who undertakes to rebuild this city, Jericho: “At the cost of his firstborn son he will lay its foundations; at the cost of his youngest he will set up its gates.” Joshua 6:26

And yes, if you're wondering, somebody does challenge this curse, and loses both his firstborn son and youngest son in the process. (1 Kings 16:34) Outside the Bible there are endless traditions of various curses tied to objects, land, people, and so on, but this post is quickly bloviating so we’re going to save all that juicy business for the next couple of episodes. For now just you watch where you build your house or which room you rent at your hotel. You never know what might happen there, and what kind of taint will mar nightmares as you sleep.
